Upgrades to Older Systems |

Assuming proper care and occasional replacement of worn elements, many Electrodynamic Vibration Tables
("Shakers") may be expected to last for many decades. Not so for the rest of the system!
Controllers typically get replaced around the 10 year mark, due to the rapid change in host PC
hardware interfaces and also Operating System obsolescence. (Would you really want to keep using a
DOS-based Controller these days?!).
Amplifiers typically start running into repair "issues" after 10 to 20 years, due primarily to
difficulty in sourcing all the constituent component parts. (Good luck getting support for that old vacuum-tube
Amplifier!).
Oftentimes, customers purchase a vertical-axis-only System, only to find after a few years that they need to
start testing in the horizontal axes as well. So they are now in the market for a Slip-Table.
Whether you need a Controller, Amplifier, Slip-Table or other major item, we can help with your upgrade
needs!
