Thermostreams generate a controllable stream of cooled or
heated air that can be directed at a component, module or electronic
board. The temperature of the airstream can be accurately controlled and ramped from one temperature to
another at whatever rate the user stipulates.
Thermostreams include a compact, castered base unit which houses a
sophisticated compressor system for cooling incoming air to as low as -90 degC. The base unit also
includes a PC-based controller with touchscreen interface.
Cooled air exits the base unit into the integral (black) duct, and then into the
upper (white) heating unit, which can heat the airstream to any temperature as high as 200 degC.
The airstream then can be pointed directly onto a target device such as an
electronic module or component.
Alternatively, the airstream can be supplied to a Thermostream enclosure such as a hood or
chamber.

Thermostreams are a portable, configurable and highly controllable way to deliver heated or
cooled air to a localized area.
They require only 230V power and a source of compressed air (they do NOT require Liquid
Nitrogen).
