As their name implies, these chambers simulate Altitude, and almost always include Temperature control
as well. If you need to simulate environmental conditions experienced by flight hardware as a plane quickly
transitions from a hot tarmac in summer to a low-temperature, low-pressure 40,000 ft. altitude cruise
condition, then this chamber is for you! Similarly, rocket and missile hardware can be tested up to 200,000 ft
in this type of chamber from Russells Technical Products.

Equipped with vacuum pumps to pull air out of the chamber, these chambers are constructed with heavy welded
load-bearing ribs to withstand the crushing pressure of ambient pressure on the outside. Special care is taken with
proper sealing techniques to prevent air leakage.
