AGREE (Vibration) Chambers |

These chambers are designed to sit atop an electrodynamic shaker. The shaker armature (which vibrates
up and down) is positioned in the floor of the chamber, and is surrounded by a flexible seal to trap the
conditioned air within the chamber workspace.
This configuration allows for controlling the temperature of your device, while it is being shaken.
It is sometimes referred to as "Controlled Environment Testing".
AGREE is an acronym (Advisory Group on
Reliability of Electronic Equipment). This group decided (in
the 1960's?) on a set of mechanical interface standards that Chamber manufacturers would conform to, and Shaker
manufacturers would conform to, so that Chambers and Shakers sourced from different suppliers would "fit
together".
A wide variety of AGREE configurations are included in the RBV-Series from
Russells Technical Products. All of them allow for the inevitable removal of the
shaker from underneath the chamber. Some designs allow for horizontal shaker motion, in addition to vertical
shaker motion. Some designs cantilever the chamber workspace out over the shaker, others straddle the shaker
(as seen in this photo).

The RBV-Series include the following:

Compressor-cooling |
 |
Cryogenic-cooling (optional) |

Removable Floor Section |
 |
Flerxible Diaphragm Sealing |

Solid Floor Plug (optional) |
